Duplicates and Broken Links

Clean up duplicate bookmarks and links that no longer resolve.

Large bookmark libraries drift over time. DearBookmark includes cleanup tools for duplicates and broken links.

Duplicate detection

Duplicate detection looks for bookmarks that refer to the same or equivalent URLs. Use it after imports, bulk saves, or browser-extension capture sessions.

Delete duplicates

After reviewing duplicate results, you can delete duplicates in bulk. Review before deleting when bookmarks contain different notes, tags, or team connections.

Broken links

Broken-link checks identify bookmarks that may no longer resolve. This is useful for old imports, temporary articles, expired pages, and deleted resources.

Extension broken checks

There is a separate extension-oriented broken-link path for checks initiated from browser workflows.

Mark as good

If a bookmark is flagged but you know it is still useful, mark it as good so it is not treated as a cleanup target.
